Hammers, we blew up a transmission during prerunning, luckily we use Maximum Transmissions and they were able to rebuild it quickly.   We ended up not making it to qualifying, so we had to start from the back.    Once again we had fuel issues and it severely impacted engine performance.  We ended up getting it worked out but ran into a long 2 hour traffic jam in Jackhammer.  We had to eventually call it after finishing lap 2 due to losing too much time and the course marshals not allowing more car out.  We ended up at 55th.  This year we feel really good about the car, so we believe this is the year we finish Race of Kings.

Liam moved up to the SXS570 class for Championship Off-Road series.  He started strong in his first race,  moving from 28th to 7th before having a crash that ended his day.   It was a learning year as he worked out building back confidence in the new car and trusting himself.

Liam finished in 21st place overall in the SXS570 class for Championship Off-road Series.

Liam will continue to run the SXS570 class for 2024 and also move into the Youth SXS for Ultra4.

We are still in the process of building a new IFS car to be able to better compete.

Bad Axe Racing is teamed up with the other Wisconsin based team Top Rock 4x4 (Eric Blaies) and are sharing our resources out at the races.   Caveman Racing (Brandon Anderson) has also pitted with us, along with Wolff Racing (Paul Wolff), and High Desert 4wheel Drive (Jim Horne).
